Main Project Activities and Work Packages (WP)
WP1: Project Management and Coordination
Objective: To ensure the smooth implementation of YouTHink project activities, quality control and partner collaboration to effectively achieve planned results within the given timeframe.
Outputs:

- Interim and Final Project Reports
WP2: Curriculum Development
Objective: To develop a comprehensive curriculum that will help develop media literacy and critical thinking skills among young people, taking into account their needs and country specifics.
The WP2 curriculum will serve as the basis for developing training materials (WP3) and conducting pilot training (WP4).
Activities:
- Gather data on the needs of young people and professionals, conduct interactive surveys, organize creative workshops, and consult with media, education and creative industry experts to identify the most pressing issues and innovative solutions.
- Share best practices on the latest technologies and interactive teaching methods used.
- Develop a 50-60 academic hour curriculum with 16 learning scenarios (EN, LT, SI, PT, IT).
Outputs:
- Creative workshops with 20 experts in each partner country.
- Interactive surveys in all partner countries with at least 100 young people participating.
- Two-day study visit to the modern laboratories of the Polytechnic Institute in Tomar, Portugal to share experiences.
- Report on the needs of young people in the field of media literacy (report in English, summaries in LT, SI, PT, IT).
- Comprehensive curriculum with 16 scenarios (EN, LT, SI, PT, IT).
WP3: Educational Material for Media Literacy Development
Objective: To create educational materials designed to develop young people’s ability to critically evaluate information and responsibly assess media content.
Activities:
- Develop learning materials to combat fake news, deepfake technologies and artificial intelligence content manipulation.
- Create materials that explain how to use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to create reliable content.
- Localize materials in all partner languages (EN, LT, SI, PT, IT).
Outputs:
- Guidelines and learning materials in English.
- Distance learning environment.
- Localized materials in LT, SI, PT, IT.
WP4: Pilot Training
Objective: To verify the relevance, quality and validity of the training materials by involving young people and professionals in pilot training in all partner countries.
Activities:
- Organize pilot training for 200 young people (14-19 years old) and 40 professionals working with youth.
- Gather participant feedback and make curriculum improvements as needed.
Outputs:
- Methodological guidelines for professionals working with youth.
- Pilot training conducted in all partner countries.
- Comprehensive action plan on how to use training materials and methods.
WP5: Dissemination and Communication
Objective: To ensure the visibility, application and long-term impact of project results.
Activities: To inform about the added value of the YouTHink project and to ensure the dissemination of results to all key stakeholders: young people, non-formal youth organizations, parents, people working with youth, formal education institutions, policy makers, international and/or national digital coalitions and the general public.
Outputs:
- Visual identity guidelines and strategic communication plan.
- Project website and social media pages.
- 20 online and contact events.
- International online exhibition.
- Four conferences in all partner countries.
- Media relations and information campaign.
