YouTHink is an international project aimed at developing critical thinking and media literacy skills among young people aged 14-19, while strengthening their social responsibility and ability to participate actively in today’s information society. The project also provides methodological tools and training for professionals working with youth to help them address the challenges of modern media and information dissemination.
The project focuses on empowering young people to identify disinformation, fake news, and propaganda, to use digital technologies effectively,y and to acquire practical skills for responsible media content creation. This initiative is a response to the increasing impact of social media and technology on young people’s ability to analyze information and make informed decisions.
The international project YouTHink (Media and Information Literacy for Youth) is funded by the Erasmus+ Cooperation in the field of Youth program. The project is implemented by partners from Lithuania, Slovenia, Portugal, Italy and Switzerland. During the project, various activities will be organized aimed at meeting the needs of young people regarding media literacy and dissemination, developing training materials, actively communicating with the project’s target groups, conducting pilot training, and disseminating the project to achieve a long-term impact on both young people and professionals working with them.
