This update presents the key findings from the creative workshops and interactive polls conducted across 5 countries between January and March 2025 as part of the “YouTHink” project on media literacy education.
Workshops involving educators, media professionals, and youth workers have highlighted critical challenges, such as verifying trustworthy sources, fostering value-based behavior, and navigating complex media ecosystems.
Polls involving 207 teenagers (aged 14–19) revealed that social media is their primary source of information, though many still struggle to distinguish between fact and opinion.
